What is included in the fuel price?
The price includes the product cost, mineral oil/energy tax and VAT. Actual prices at the pump may vary slightly as these are national averages.
Why is fuel significantly cheaper in some EU countries?
The biggest price factor is taxes: in some countries taxes account for over 60% of the price, in others less than 40%. Transport costs and local market competition also play a role.
