Data Collection

We use Umami, an open-source analytics tool that runs on our own server at stats.euenergyprices.eu. No data is shared with third parties (no Google Analytics, no external trackers, no CDN beacons).

When you visit this website, the following data is processed:

• Pages visited and time of access
• Approximate country and city of origin (derived by Umami, no external API call)
• Referring website, browser, operating system, device type
• Screen size and language preference

Your IP address is never stored in plain text. Umami uses it briefly to derive approximate location and then discards it. The visitor ID used for session counting is a daily-rotating hash based on IP, user-agent and a server-side salt — not reversible to a specific person.

Cookies

This website uses no cookies — neither for tracking nor for any other purpose. No cookie consent banner is required.

Data Retention

Analytics data is retained indefinitely for long-term usage statistics. Since no personally identifiable information is stored in plain text, tracing data back to individuals is not possible.
