Der Großhandelspreis ist der Börsenpreis für Strom. Haushaltspreise enthalten zusätzlich Netzentgelte, Steuern und Abgaben — typischerweise das 2-4-fache des Großhandelspreises.

Negativpreise: Negativpreise entstehen, wenn das Angebot (Wind/Solar) die Nachfrage übersteigt. Erzeuger zahlen dafür, Strom ins Netz einzuspeisen.
